Since 2010, the Wageningen Potato Centre (WPC) has been building a bridge between potato research and the potato production industry. The WPC is a Wageningen University & Research initiative, which focuses primarily on gathering knowledge and stimulating cooperation. Partner companies of the WPC are right at the forefront of developments in potato research. The WPC creates a unique platform that makes the results of strategic and fundamental research accessible and usable within the potato sector. Companies have the opportunity to meet each other at the WPC and many form new working ties. The network sessions play an important part in this respect.
